WAYS TO PREVENT ORAL HEALTH ISSUES
Cleaning Regular cleanings and checkups are essential to maintain good oral health. We customize each cleaning based on our patients’ individual needs.
X-rays Used as a diagnostic tool, these pictures help us determine the patient’s overall oral health. We use digital x-rays, which expose patients to very little radiation compared to traditional x-rays.
Sealants A small amount of material is painted into the grooves of the back teeth to help prevent cavities. This very simple procedure does an excellent job of maintaining oral health.
Bruxism This condition is more commonly known as teeth grinding or clenching. Many patients do this at night in their sleep and are completely unaware of it. Bruxism can lead to headaches, jaw pain, and worn-down or weakened teeth. A night guard can be made to help protect the teeth against further wear.
